Last week we went on a search around the school for patterns. Check out what we found!

Signs of Fall

During our daily morning meeting, we have been talking about "good friends". We have shared what we notice about friends and how we can be a better friend to everyone in our class. Here is a book that shares some of our ideas.

Thanks to Tanner's mom, earlier this month we made fun pumpkins with our fourth grade book buddies. The fourth graders did a great job teaching us what to do and made sure we did most of the work. We thought it was pretty silly that the pumpkins were made out of a roll of toilet paper!

We were very excited for our first writing celebration! After each writing unit, we will take time to celebrate all the great things we are doing as writers. For this celebration we had a "circle share" where we each shared a favorite page from one of our many books written this month. Then we gathered together for a "toast" with orange punch! Here's to 8 more months of great stories! Cheers!

Go Cardinals! One of our favorite memories so far was the morning of the Homecoming pep fest. We loved hearing the band play, seeing the sports captains, and cheering along with the cheerleaders. We even got our picture taken with the Cardinal!
