Our Forever Books

This week we enjoyed reading our special Forever Books from home. Learning about new books and authors is one of the best parts of kindergarten! We talked about how strong readers THINK while reading and then did some drawing about what WE think about when we read our Forever Book. Bubbles and Watermelon

In our first days together we explored watermelon and bubbles. It was a perfect way to start kindergarten! We used poems, books, songs, shared writing, and outside play to explore in a fun, hands-on way.

Starburst Designs and a NEWS REPORT from K

Mrs. Pawelski helps us make many fantastic projects in art. Here is a video of our Starburst designs focusing on symmetry.

We used our green screen to share a kindergartner led NEWS REPORT. (We should have used our ipad stand...it looks like we are reporting from a bumpy boat!)
